Air France has added a new U.S. destination: service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) begins March 31, 2019. The route is operated with an Airbus A330 configured to carry 224 passengers, including 36 business class seats, 21 premium economy seats and 167 economy seats.
Seasonal frequencies vary: from March 31 to June 30 and from September 4 to October 25, flights are scheduled three times weekly—Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. During the peak summer period from July 1 to September 1, the service increases to five weekly flights, operating Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
In addition to the new route, Air France introduced refreshed menus for its La Première cabin. Each month the carrier features two signature dishes created by a Michelin-starred chef; these items are served on departures from New York (JFK), Tokyo (NRT) and Shanghai (PVG). The rotating selections highlight refined ingredients and creative preparations tailored to first-class passengers.
Recent La Première menu examples include a seared filet accompanied by spinach, glazed potatoes and candied shallots; monkfish paired with saffron, fennel and a crisp rice accent with coconut milk; chicken supreme filled with walnut butter and seasoned with smoked paprika; and roasted scallops finished with coffee butter and cider vinegar, served alongside mashed celery and mushrooms.
The new Dallas route and the enhanced La Première offerings reflect Air France’s continued focus on expanding its transatlantic network and elevating the onboard experience for premium travelers.
