Delta Global Sales has introduced a set of communication tools designed to make corporate travelers more aware of the benefits tied to their company’s corporate sales agreement with Delta.
Travelers enrolled in corporate programs that include complimentary Preferred Seating, Zone 1 Priority Boarding, or digital vouchers will now receive targeted notifications from Delta through the Fly Delta app and on delta.com. These messages are intended to ensure guests know how to access and use the benefits their company provides.
In addition, Delta added a Communications Cockpit feature to the Delta Professional Corporate Travel site. This tool enables corporate travel managers to opt in to co-branded messaging that Delta sends directly to employees covered by a qualifying corporate contract. The capability is available for companies with U.S.-based corporate sales agreements.
“We want to make sure all of our corporate travelers fully understand the value their company’s corporate relationship with Delta brings to their travel journey,” said Kristen Shovlin, vice president of sales operations and development for Delta Air Lines. “These new, customizable messages put the power of information directly in the hands of corporate travel managers, as well as corporate travelers themselves.”
The new communications suite is built to simplify awareness and usage of corporate benefits by delivering clear, timely information at points of interaction—during booking, pre-trip planning, and close to travel time. By integrating messages into the Fly Delta app and delta.com, Delta aims to reach travelers where they already manage itineraries, boarding passes, and account details.
For corporate travel managers, the Communications Cockpit provides an easy way to tailor messaging and choose co-branding options so communications align with company policies and branding. Managers can opt in or opt out depending on how their organization prefers to engage employees about travel perks. This approach helps travel teams reinforce policy awareness while giving employees straightforward guidance on using specific benefits such as priority boarding and digital vouchers.
From an employee perspective, the direct messages reduce uncertainty about what is included in a corporate program and how to redeem entitlements. Instead of searching through policy documents or asking a manager, travelers will receive concise instructions and reminders through familiar Delta channels. This can help streamline check-in and boarding, reduce confusion at the gate, and maximize the value of corporate travel arrangements.
Delta’s focus on clearer communication reflects a broader trend in corporate travel toward user-friendly tools that support both administrators and travelers. By combining in-app notifications, website messaging, and a manager-facing cockpit, the airline offers multiple touchpoints for reinforcing benefits and improving the overall travel experience.
These capabilities are currently available to companies with U.S.-based corporate sales agreements. Corporate travel managers interested in using the Communications Cockpit can manage settings through the Delta Professional Corporate Travel site to enable co-branded messages for their employees. Travelers will then begin to receive notifications about eligible benefits directly through the Fly Delta app and on delta.com.
