Air France Lets Passengers Finish Movies Interrupted by Flights

In-flight entertainment offers a convenient opportunity to catch up on acclaimed films that busy schedules often push aside. But starting a movie late into a flight can mean missing the ending. To address that, Air France recently ran a successful Cinema to Go program that let passengers begin a film on board and finish it later on their own devices.

The program featured select films that had won awards at this year’s and previous Cannes Film Festivals. Passengers could watch these titles in-flight and then continue viewing on tablets, smartphones, or computers using a gift code provided by the airline. Although the initiative was available only during this year’s Cannes Film Festival in May, its positive reception could encourage broader integration on Air France flights throughout the year.

This complimentary service highlighted Air France’s partnership with the Cannes Film Festival and supported the airline’s popular Los Angeles (LAX) to Paris (CDG) route. The campaign demonstrated how airlines can enhance passenger experience by combining curated content and flexible viewing options, making long-haul travel more enjoyable and convenient.
