Marriott’s Autograph Collection has opened a new luxury hotel in Manhattan Beach, California. Set on 26 acres in the South Bay, the property is conveniently close to Los Angeles International Airport and offers 393 guest rooms and suites, 112 of which feature private balconies. Dining is led by executive chef Octavio Sabado at Jute Coastal Bar + Kitchen, where guests can enjoy coastal-inspired cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel’s design was developed by EDG Design of San Francisco with consultation from Theresa Fatino Design. Signature details include a handcrafted Argentine driftwood reception desk and original artworks by Sausalito photorealist Eric Zener, whose elemental water paintings complement the coastal setting. Contemporary guestrooms use a soothing, beach-inspired palette and subtle coastal accents, while public areas feature natural textures such as jute-woven seating.
Located roughly a mile from the shoreline, the hotel provides guests access to bicycles through a partnership with Sole Bicycles of Venice Beach, making it easy to explore the beachfront and nearby neighborhoods. On-site amenities include lawn games, an outdoor pool, a fitness center and a nine-hole, par-three golf course ideal for casual play. For meetings and social events, the property offers extensive facilities, including 18 meeting rooms and Loftlight, a 6,800-square-foot ballroom suitable for larger gatherings.
With its blend of refined design, coastal-inspired dining and a broad range of amenities, the Manhattan Beach Autograph Collection property aims to serve both leisure travelers seeking a seaside escape and business guests needing convenient access to Los Angeles and the airport.
