Throughout the hotel, guests encounter artwork by local artists, Vassar memorabilia spanning decades, and a custom installation celebrating native flora and fauna. The collection is curated in partnership with The Loeb, Vassar’s on-campus art museum, and includes standout pieces such as a hand-painted mural by visual artist Julia Whitney Barnes that serves as a visual guide to Hudson Valley horticulture. Later this year, The Vassar Institute—located within the hotel—will open as a convening space for scholars, community members, and thought leaders to hold conversations and public programs; the space is scheduled to launch in October.
Guestroom options include double-queen rooms, king rooms, and suites. Bathrooms feature stone and marble finishes, rainfall showers, and soaking tubs. Deluxe suites add separate living and dining areas and fully equipped kitchens, providing extended-stay comfort and convenience.

The hotel is also home to The Salt Line Hudson Valley, a seasonally inspired restaurant that spotlights products from local farmers, purveyors, and makers. For evening gatherings, Night Owls offers an intimate bar setting serving classic cocktails and bar snacks.
Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, participation in the Hotels for Trees program—where the hotel plants a tree when guests opt out of daily linen service—and on-site access to the Arlington Farmers Market, held every Thursday afternoon on the property. These features underscore the hotel’s commitment to community engagement and local sustainability while providing a comfortable base for exploring the Hudson Valley.
