Hilton Launches New Hotel in Fourth Russian City

Hilton Worldwide has opened its fourth hotel in Russia, choosing Krasnodar as the location for the new property. Situated near Krasnodar International Airport (KRR), the Hilton Garden Inn Krasnodar offers 165 guest rooms, an on-site restaurant and bar, three meeting rooms and a fitness center, catering to both business and leisure travelers.

The new opening is part of Hilton’s broader expansion across Russia. The company announced plans to double its presence in the country from four hotels to eight within the year, with additional properties slated to open in Moscow, Krasnoyarsk and Voronezh. This growth responds to increasing demand driven by major international events and a rising profile for Russia as a travel destination.

Simon Vincent, Hilton Worldwide’s vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, emphasized the strategic timing of the expansion: “With major events on the horizon such as the 2014 Winter Olympics and the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Russia’s profile as a visitor destination is increasing. Supporting this burgeoning demand for business and leisure travel, by the end of the year we expect to double the number of hotels that we operate to eight in locations across the country. I am delighted that we have opened our fourth Russian hotel in Krasnodar, extending our award-winning Hilton Garden Inn brand to travelers in the region.”

The Hilton Garden Inn Krasnodar is positioned to serve the region’s growing tourism and business sectors by providing a combination of comfortable accommodations and practical amenities. Its proximity to the airport makes it a convenient choice for travelers, while meeting facilities and dining options support corporate events and social gatherings. The property adds to Hilton’s portfolio in Russia, reflecting the brand’s commitment to meeting increased traveler demand and expanding its footprint in key regional markets.

By focusing on strategic locations and offering consistent brand standards, Hilton aims to attract a wide range of guests, from international visitors attending large-scale events to local business travelers and regional tourists. The Krasnodar opening demonstrates the company’s intent to grow thoughtfully within Russia while maintaining service and amenities expected from the Hilton Garden Inn brand.
