Featured chefs of The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa invite guests into their kitchen to cook alongside them during the resort’s Interactive Summer Wine Dinner Series.
The series, hosted at the 512-room resort in the heart of the Palm Springs Valley, gives participants a hands-on opportunity to learn how to build memorable wine dinners. Each course is presented with an engaging, educational demonstration and a discussion of the wine pairing. A limited number of guests are also invited into the kitchen to prepare a course with the featured chefs.
The next event is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, and will showcase wines from the award-winning Francis Ford Coppola Winery. A winery representative will introduce each wine throughout the evening and explain its production and tasting notes. Among the notable offerings is the Director’s Cut series—Sonoma wines packaged with wraparound labels inspired by the Zoetrope, an early moving-picture device—highlighting the winery’s creative approach to winemaking and branding.
The final dinner in the Interactive Summer Wine Dinner Series will feature Rodney Strong Vineyards on Saturday, Aug. 29. The evening will include Executive Chef Joel Delmond alongside Chef Juan Leon and Chef Antwon Brinson. Rodney Strong Vineyards is celebrated for its Single Vineyard and Reserve wines, standout Estate releases, and high-quality Sonoma County varietals.
Each dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. Seating is limited; the cost is $85 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required.
