Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe Completes Major Property-Wide Renovation

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe has unveiled a property-wide transformation following a two-year renovation that refreshed guestrooms and suites, modernized common areas, introduced updated dining concepts and added new guest experiences.

The redesign covers 170 guestrooms and suites that draw inspiration from the surrounding landscape, featuring warm earth tones, natural textures and expansive panoramic windows. The on-site Ritz-Carlton Residences now offer two-, three- and four-bedroom accommodations with generous common areas, providing flexible lodging options for families and groups.

The resort’s renovated signature restaurant, Manzanita, takes its design cues from Lake Tahoe with rustic finishes and a prominent stone fireplace anchoring the dining room. The menu highlights contemporary California cuisine crafted from seasonal ingredients. Another refreshed venue, the Living Room Lodge, features plush leather seating, floor-to-ceiling windows and a sleek U-shaped bar—an inviting space to relax, socialize and enjoy a rotating seasonal menu alongside a curated selection of local wines and beers.

Across the property, the renovation focused on enhancing social and leisure spaces to encourage connection and comfort. Improvements include an updated fitness center, new pool cabanas, two Topgolf Swing Suites for indoor entertainment and the Alpine Exchange Boutique retail space for curated shopping.
