WestJet is expanding its transatlantic network with new nonstop flights from London to six Canadian destinations beginning next spring. The airline will operate services from London Gatwick (LGW) to Vancouver (YVR), Edmonton (YEG), Calgary (YYC), Winnipeg (YWG), Toronto (YYZ) and St. John’s (YYT).
Long-haul routes to Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg will be served by WestJet’s Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. These extended-range 767s seat 262 guests and include a 24-seat Plus cabin with wider seats and extra legroom. The 767 fleet also offers hot meal service and a modern in-flight entertainment and wireless connectivity system, with 110-volt and USB power outlets at every seat.
Flights to St. John’s will operate on Boeing Next-Generation 737-700 aircraft from London Gatwick, providing a convenient direct link between England and Newfoundland.
