Crystal River Cruises’ popular President’s Cruise will sail over Thanksgiving this year, with CEO and president Edie Rodriguez and her husband Tom joining guests aboard the Crystal Mozart for a special November voyage along the Danube.
For the first time, the President’s Cruise will be hosted on a river ship rather than one of Crystal’s renowned ocean vessels, Crystal Symphony or Crystal Serenity. The 10-day sailing departs Vienna on Nov. 22 and features Crystal’s all-inclusive excursions designed to showcase the holiday traditions and seasonal festivities of Austria and Germany.
“I am thrilled to be spending the Thanksgiving holiday with the guests aboard Crystal Mozart and exploring this beautiful region along the Danube at one of the most magical times of the year,” Rodriguez said.
Guests can expect lavish holiday meals, cocktail receptions and curated excursions to picturesque European towns illuminated for the season, with traditional music and festive events throughout Austria’s Wachau Valley.
The itinerary includes an overnight in Linz and a two-night stay in Vienna at the end of the cruise to allow extra time for exploration. Other ports of call are Melk, Austria; Passau and Vilshofen an der Donau, Germany; and Bratislava, Slovakia. The all-inclusive Crystal Mozart cruise is priced from $3,180 per person.
