Aman to Open Luxury Resort in Baja California, Mexico in 2026

Next year, Aman will unveil its latest highly anticipated property in the Americas: Amanvari. The luxury resort will be located on the East Cape of Baja California and will comprise just 18 casitas along with a limited selection of private residences.

Set where desert, shoreline and estuary converge, Amanvari’s design and interiors will draw directly from these three distinct landscapes. The casitas are planned on slightly elevated sites so guests can enjoy sweeping views of the Sea of Cortés, the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range and the wide skies of the East Cape. The estate’s residence villas will offer comparable panoramas and will also overlook the Robert Trent Jones II–designed golf course.

Interiors will emphasize natural materials and artisanal details, with open-air courtyards, custom ceramics and original artwork created by Mexican artisans integrated throughout the accommodations.

Dining at Amanvari will showcase a variety of culinary venues, from Italian to Japanese, each highlighting the region’s seasonal produce and coastal flavors. The restaurant concepts are intended to celebrate local ingredients while offering refined, diverse culinary experiences.

The Aman Spa will present a contemporary take on the traditional temazcal (sweat lodge) alongside the brand’s signature Spa Houses. Additional wellness facilities will include an open-air yoga pavilion and a range of quiet, restorative spaces designed for relaxation and holistic treatments.

Amanvari will be part of the broader Costa Palmas community, a private estate that features organic orchards and farms, three miles of beachfront, and a yacht club with a deep-water marina. The development aims to combine luxury hospitality with the natural beauty and resources of the East Cape, offering guests a secluded coastal retreat grounded in local character.
