Las Lajas Sanctuary in southern Colombia is a Roman Catholic basilica constructed in the early 20th century on the site of a long-standing pilgrimage shrine. The location drew pilgrims since the 1700s amid reports of Marian apparitions and accounts of miraculous healings. Built across a dramatic canyon with a bridge connecting it to the town, the sanctuary combines striking Gothic Revival architecture with deep spiritual significance for many visitors.
