Opening in 2027, Curracloe Links is already being touted as Ireland’s next seaside golf treasure. Situated about an hour south of Neville Hotels’ sister property Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort and roughly two hours from Dublin Airport, Curracloe Links will be part of the Ravenport Resort development, placing a world-class golf experience at the heart of the destination.

The name Curracloe, derived from the Gaelic for “marsh,” reflects the site’s landscape: natural wetland separates the fairways from towering coastal dunes. This interplay of marsh, sand and sea creates classic linksland conditions that many golfers prize.
Set across 65 hectares and just a short walk from the shoreline, the course features sandy waste areas and firm turf that encourage running shots and require strategic play into prevailing sea breezes. Curracloe Links represents the Irish debut for acclaimed architects Dana Fry and Jason Straka, who have crafted a design that responds to the land’s natural features.

“The ancient linksland of Curracloe, with its rolling hills, long sea views and rugged natural bunkers, will offer a quintessential Irish golf experience and lure people from all over the world to its fairway,” said Jason Straka, highlighting the course’s dramatic coastal character and strategic routing.

Additional details about the course layout, tee options and practice facilities will be released closer to opening. Ravenport Resort, which opened in 2024, already complements the golf offering with 49 guestrooms and suites, 40 private golf lodges, dining and leisure amenities including a restaurant, bar, spa, health club and pool. The resort sits close to Curracloe Beach, a seven-mile stretch of white sand adjacent to the Raven Nature Reserve, providing visitors with both outstanding golf and scenic coastal recreation.
