Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa is nearing completion of a $10 million renovation that reimagines the resort’s 416 guestrooms and expands the property to 419 rooms, including 32 suites.
The resort remained open during the renovation with no impact to other areas of the property. All room and suite updates are scheduled to be finished in spring 2024.

The resort partnered with noted interior design firm Ellis Adams Design to transform guest rooms and suites into extensions of Hilton Head Island’s natural landscape. The refreshed accommodations draw inspiration from the island’s sea oats and sweetgrass to create a luxurious coastal retreat that balances wellness and casual adventure. A light, airy palette influenced by sandy shores, marsh grasses, deep green foliage and blue skies gives each room a warm, natural feel.

The resort now offers eight room types and seven suite configurations, all featuring spacious balconies and Westin’s Signature Heavenly Bed. Renovated suites include the Resort and Carolina King Suites, plus the Atlantic, Vice Presidential and Presidential suites. The property also plans to introduce two new specialty suites geared toward families and groups in the spring or summer.
