The Waldorf Astoria has announced plans to transform the existing Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas into the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, with a scheduled opening in August. At that time the Waldorf Astoria brand will assume full operation of the property.
This will be the brand’s first Las Vegas location and is positioned to become a new center for luxury hospitality on the Strip. The hotel will preserve Waldorf Astoria’s signature standards while introducing new, distinctive offerings tailored to high-end visitors to the city.
Among the experiences highlighted for the property are curated helicopter excursions, redesigned spa retreats focused on wellness and relaxation, and an exclusive lounge on the 23rd floor that promises elevated views and refined service.
Guests at the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas will also have access to ARIA Resort & Casino for gaming and entertainment, delivering the classic Las Vegas resort experience. The location places visitors within easy reach of major Strip attractions such as the Bellagio fountains, The Park and T-Mobile Arena.
“We are thrilled to announce the addition of a Waldorf Astoria in the western part of the United States, and in the heart of such a dynamic, internationally beloved city like Las Vegas,” said Martin Rinck, global head of Hilton’s luxury and lifestyle group. He noted that the new Las Vegas property complements recent openings such as Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills and the brand’s upcoming properties in San Francisco and Antigua, underscoring the brand’s growth and expanding presence.
With its combination of established Waldorf Astoria services, upgraded amenities and prime proximity to Las Vegas entertainment, the new property aims to attract travelers seeking a tranquil, luxurious retreat amid the city’s vibrant energy.
