W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills Hotel Guide & Booking Info

Arrival/Check-In: Located just minutes from Rodeo Drive and UCLA and a short drive from Venice Beach, W Los Angeles — West Beverly Hills sits amid the energy of L.A. while maintaining a quiet, convenient setting. The hotel welcomes guests with a wide entryway and an efficient lobby where check-in is quick and simple. From there you can drop your bags and head to the Living Room Bar or STK Los Angeles, or relax poolside at The Hideout, a newly renovated outdoor dining area. The property projects the contemporary, relaxed tone and polished service that regular W Hotel visitors will recognize.

Guest Quarters: I stayed in the Spectacular King Suite, an ideal choice for a business traveler. The suite opens into a roomy business area with a large desk, abundant power outlets and comfortable workspace. Adjacent to the work area is a lounge with a generous sectional and seating, and the separate bedroom features a king-size bed with the W signature mattress and its own TV. The bathroom is modern with a tiled shower and single sink designed for efficient use by one guest. The suite also included a well-stocked W MixBar. Overall, the layout made it easy to work and relax in a refined, comfortable environment.

Services/Amenities: The hotel offers several on-site dining options. During my stay I enjoyed an evening that felt quintessentially L.A. — starting in the Living Room Bar, a stylish lounge with varied seating areas, and then moving to STK for dinner. We sampled a few shared starters, including market lettuce, an heirloom beet and pear salad, and tuna tartare. Main courses included Mary’s organic chicken, flatiron Wagyu and branzino, accompanied by maple bacon Brussels sprouts, spicy broccoli and the signature mac and cheese. Each dish was impressive, but dessert stole the show: The Cloud, a dramatic flaming cotton candy presentation that reveals hidden sweets inside.

Beyond dining, the hotel features five versatile meeting and event rooms, ranging from boardrooms to larger high-tech spaces suitable for team-building or a wedding. The W’s Whatever/Whenever service is available to assist with guest needs and special requests.

The outdoor area, The Hideout, is one of the property’s highlights. Although it was undergoing refurbishment during my visit, it has since been completed and provides an inviting outdoor escape to dine or relax. For fitness, the hotel includes a FIT gym so guests can keep up with their workouts while in town.
