St. Regis Punta Mita has unveiled the first phase of an extensive property-wide reinvention, revealing refreshed public spaces, select guestrooms and suites, and upgraded dining and outdoor amenities. The newly completed work includes enhancements to the lobby and concierge areas, Altamira Lobby Bar, Las Marietas Restaurant & Bar, Marietas Pool & Beach, several outdoor wedding venues, and a number of renovated rooms. Phase two of the renovation is scheduled to begin later this year.

“This reinvention project marks a new chapter for the resort, elevating our standard of luxury and hospitality,” said Gonzalo Guelmanros, general manager of St. Regis Punta Mita. “Located in one of Punta Mita’s most desirable enclaves, the property builds on the refined legacy established by our founder, and we look forward to welcoming both new visitors and returning guests to experience these refreshed offerings.”
Eight oceanfront beach villas have been reimagined with expansive living areas, large openings that frame ocean views, and locally sourced materials. Each villa now includes its own private dipping pool. In-room amenities have been upgraded—guests will find a Gold Beauty Bar—and the St. Regis Signature Butler service is available around the clock. Newly designed guestrooms and suites draw on the colors, lighting and natural textures of traditional Mexican haciendas to create warm, authentic interiors.

Altamira Lobby Bar highlights tequila and mezcal with curated programming, signature cocktails and elevated bar bites inspired by Mexican street food. Las Marietas Restaurant & Bar, open for three meals, emphasizes the region’s coastal flavors with seafood-forward dishes. Marietas Pool & Beach provides loungers, daybeds and cabanas, while Beach Butlers attend to guests with personalized poolside service. Outdoors, a large lawn in front of Marietas is now available for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The resort also includes a 2,600-square-foot ballroom, a hacienda-style courtyard, intimate garden venues and additional outdoor event spaces.
