Spirit Airlines Adds Five New Routes to Orlando — Book Now

Beginning this fall, Spirit Airlines will introduce new nonstop routes from five major U.S. cities to Orlando International Airport (MCO). Strong demand—particularly during the low season and winter months—prompted the carrier to add service linking Orlando with Boston (BOS), Philadelphia (PHL) and Kansas City, Mo. (MCI). After those routes launch, Spirit will begin daily flights from two New York-area airports: Plattsburgh (PBG) and Niagara Falls (IAG).

Service to Boston and Philadelphia is scheduled to start in early October, with flights to Kansas City, Plattsburgh and Niagara Falls following in November. Currently, Spirit operates 12 routes between North American cities and Orlando, the gateway to Walt Disney World. Adding these five flights will expand Spirit’s Orlando network to more than 17 destinations.

Headquartered in Miramar, Fla., Spirit Airlines is a low-cost carrier that serves destinations across the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, Latin America and South America.
