Six Senses Resort: Luxury Escape in South Cambodia

Sitting on a pristine 30 acres of private island just three miles from Ream National Park in southern Cambodia, Six Senses Krabey Island delivers a refined luxury escape. The resort’s 40 private pool villas feature green-living roofs, spacious sun decks, luxury rain showers and private plunge or infinity pools, all designed to harmonize modern comfort with the island’s natural surroundings and sustainable materials.

Dining at Six Senses Krabey centers on fresh, locally sourced produce and regional flavors. Two restaurants serve a mix of Southeast Asian and international dishes prepared with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients. Guests can finish the evening at the sunset bar or the on-site ice cream parlor for a relaxed nightcap or dessert.

The resort combines holistic wellness with contemporary luxury through a broad program of treatments and activities. The rooftop yoga pavilion offers peaceful practice with ocean views, while the Crystal Water Room and Meditation Cave provide quiet spaces for relaxation and reflection. The Alchemy Bar invites guests to create personalized skincare products using natural ingredients.

For active guests, the fitness center and organized water sports deliver variety: snorkeling, fishing and other ocean activities allow exploration of the surrounding marine environment. The resort also runs expert-led excursions, including guided cooking classes that begin with a visit to the organic farm to learn about the ingredients and sustainable practices used in the kitchens.

Unique experiences at the resort include the night-sky observation center, where guests can learn about constellations and enjoy unobstructed views away from city light pollution. These curated experiences complement spa treatments and wellness programming to create a balanced, restorative stay.

Families are welcome: the Nest kids’ club entertains children aged 4–12 through the Grow with Six Senses educational program, which mixes play, learning and environmental awareness.

Access to the island is straightforward. International visitors can fly into Phnom Penh (PNH), Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), Siem Reap (REP) or Kuala Lumpur (KUL), then connect to Sihanouk International Airport. From there it’s a short 10-minute drive to the resort’s mainland pier, followed by a scenic sport-cruiser transfer to the private island.
