Singapore Airlines Launches Nutritious Menu for World’s Longest Flight

Singapore Airlines has teamed up with wellness brand Canyon Ranch to introduce a “wellness cuisine” menu for its upcoming nonstop route between Singapore (SIN) and Newark (EWR), currently the world’s longest commercial flight at 18 hours and 45 minutes.

The new meal program is designed to enhance passenger comfort on ultra-long-haul journeys. In addition to menu changes, the airline is developing complementary measures focused on sleep, movement and stretching routines to help travelers rest more effectively and reduce the effects of jet lag.

Singapore Airlines has revealed two initial dishes that reflect the wellness approach. One is Seared Chicken with zucchini pappardelle made from ribbon-cut zucchini, Parmesan, braised tomatoes, lemon vinaigrette and micro basil. The other is Lox Eggs Benedict served on a whole-wheat English muffin with chive cream cheese, smoked salmon, an organic-egg omelet and a yogurt hollandaise. Both dishes are crafted to be hydrating and nutrient-forward.

These wellness-focused options will debut on the Singapore–Newark service and are planned to roll out on the carrier’s Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO) routes at a later date. The initiative reflects a broader trend among airlines to rethink in-flight dining and onboard wellbeing for long-duration travel, prioritizing lighter, restorative meals and practical onboard strategies to support passenger health.
