Season Highlights at Highmark Mann Center: Philadelphia Concerts & Events

On June 4, Highmark Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia celebrates 50 years of exceptional performances with more than 50 shows presented as part of the America250 celebrations. This milestone season is made even more special by the unveiling of a reimagined 21-acre campus that modernizes the visitor experience while honoring the venue’s storied past.

Key campus upgrades include a spacious new Plaza and Welcome Center and the Satell Centennial Wall East, a dynamic light-and-sound digital wall that will showcase historical and cultural videos. A new Music Hall of Fame offers archival displays and an interactive touch-screen jukebox, inviting guests to explore the center’s legendary performances and history. The renovation also introduces a permanent Skyline Stage, updated backstage facilities, a new ticket office, additional restrooms, expanded concessions and a new gift shop to improve comfort and convenience for audiences.

“We have so much to celebrate here in Philadelphia, and we are thrilled to add to the festivities with a season of spectacular performances that continues a tradition passed down through generations of Philadelphians,” said Catherine M. Cahill, president and CEO of Highmark Mann. “Our current campus opened to great fanfare as America celebrated its bicentennial. Now, fifty years later, we are thrilled to reintroduce audiences — and welcome new ones — to Highmark Mann, recreated for a new generation.”

The June 4 season launch highlights a world premiere from Philadelphia’s BalletX performing The Four Seasons Reimagined, led by composer and electronic music innovator Dan Deacon. Choreographers Morgann Runacre-Temple, Penny Saunders, Jamar Roberts and Trey McIntyre each contribute a distinct interpretation of a “season,” offering a fresh and contemporary take on Vivaldi’s timeless concept.
