Atlanta may remain snow-free this Christmas, but The St. Regis Atlanta in the upscale Buckhead neighborhood will celebrate the season with a full slate of festive experiences. In the hotel’s grand lobby, guests will find the city’s largest gingerbread house, produced in collaboration with luxury candy boutique Sugarfina. The impressive display used roughly 300 pounds of flour, 100 pounds of sugar, 10 pounds of spices, 70 pounds of shortening, 45 pounds of corn syrup and 16 pounds of molasses and required approximately 500 hours of baking and assembly. Once finished, the gingerbread house houses a pop-up holiday candy shop offering treats such as Santa’s sugar cookies and gingerbread men gummies.

The hotel also partners with Canadian luxury tea brand TEALEAVES and the Atlanta Ballet for “Nutcracker #AfternoonTEALEAVES: Gifts of Time,” a seasonal collaboration that blends holiday tea service with classic ballet-inspired touches.
Tea with Santa runs Dec. 2, Dec. 7–9 and Dec. 14–24, with seatings from 1:45–4:30 p.m. During the service, children join Santa at their table for a selection of pastries that include Pistachio and Raspberry Financier and Double Chocolate and Peppermint Gateaux. The experience features TEALEAVES Nutcracker and Organic Sugar Plum Fairy tea blends and a dedicated s’mores station. Complimentary admission is offered for children under 3 years old.
Outside the hotel, guests can lace up skates on the Astor Holiday Ice Rink, glide to seasonal music and pause for hot chocolate and light bites. From Dec. 14–24, Storytime with Santa invites families to enjoy readings by Santa and Mrs. Claus of beloved Christmas bedtime tales. On Christmas Day, the St. Regis Atlanta hosts a festive brunch showcasing traditional holiday dishes and live entertainment for the whole family.
