Rosewood Sanya opened last month and features 246 ocean-facing guestrooms, including 45 suites with private balcony plunge pools. The design blends land and sea influences, using warm wood accents, sculptural totems and aquatic motifs. Carefully selected artwork appears throughout the property, from the lobby to the infinity pool bar, while the 14th-floor reception area offers sweeping views of the South China Sea.
Situated on a 40-acre landscaped resort complex near the Sanya Forum—the region’s largest convention center—the hotel includes a grand ballroom, six flexible event rooms and a residential-style venue suitable for private functions and meetings.
Dining options total five restaurants and lounges. East Kitchen, located on the 13th floor, serves modern comfort dishes and specialty cocktails against a sea-facing backdrop. HAI is the resort’s infinity pool bar, where a resident mixologist crafts seasonal drinks. Later this month the Fishmonger will open as a market-style, open-kitchen restaurant focused on fresh seafood. Chop House offers elegant seaside al fresco dining with a refined steakhouse menu. The resort also runs A Sense of Taste, a curated culinary program that arranges private guided food experiences and access to local, authentic ingredients and cooking traditions.
Leisure amenities include a full spa, a fitness studio, multiple swimming pools, daily yoga classes, a variety of water sports and access to a nearby golf course. These offerings are designed for relaxation and active pursuits, whether guests prefer pampering treatments, wellness activities or outdoor adventure.
To celebrate the opening, Rosewood Sanya is offering two special packages: the Essential Sanya Offer and the Sanya Indulgence Offer. The Essential Sanya package includes a one-night stay, buffet breakfast for two, sunset cocktails, a welcome fruit basket, a bottle of wine and a complimentary stocked mini bar. The Sanya Indulgence package adds private airport transfer, a welcome fruit platter, a one-hour spa treatment for two, daily buffet breakfast for two, sunset cocktails and a dining credit. Both offers run through Dec. 29, with blackout dates from Sept. 30 to Oct. 7.
