Rosewood Adds The Raleigh Miami Beach to Its Luxury Hotel Portfolio

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has partnered with SHVO, the New York–based real estate development and investment firm, to unveil a new chapter for the iconic The Raleigh in Miami Beach. The teams fully restored and reimagined the three-acre oceanfront property, which includes 220 feet of beachfront.

Situated in Miami’s vibrant Art Deco district, The Raleigh now features distinct components envisioned by architect Peter Marino. The property includes a fully restored and modernized 60-room and suite hotel managed by Rosewood, complete with elevated amenities and attentive service; Rosewood Residences Miami Beach, a newly constructed 17-story oceanfront tower with 44 residences; and a private members club with beachfront dining.

“As the steward of Miami’s most iconic property, The Raleigh, I am thrilled to partner with preeminent luxury hotel brand, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, and world-renowned architect Peter Marino to reimagine and secure the rich legacy of The Raleigh, creating a new, unparalleled hospitality experience in Miami Beach,” said Michael Shvo, chairman and CEO of SHVO. “We are excited to introduce the hotel as well as the residences at The Raleigh, which offer the unique opportunity, for the first time ever, to live on property.”

Peter Marino, a frequent SHVO collaborator, leads the restoration design with Miami-based Kobi Karp Architecture. Their goal is to blend refined contemporary design with The Raleigh’s historic Miami character. Signature spaces such as the Martini Bar and Tiger Room have been restored to reflect both Art Deco elegance and a modern sensibility.

Adjacent to the restored hotel, the new 17-story tower houses Rosewood Residences Miami Beach. The tower offers 44 private residences with expansive ocean views, bringing a residential component to the property and allowing owners to live within this storied beachfront setting for the first time.
