Casa Velas, an adults-only boutique hotel set on the Marina Vallarta golf course in Puerto Vallarta, has introduced a new intimate vow renewal experience designed for couples. Limited to a maximum of eight guests, the multiday program blends wellness, meaningful rituals and personalized dining to help partners reconnect and celebrate their commitment.
The experience opens with The Intention Session, offering either a private sunrise yoga class or a guided seaside meditation. That session is complemented by an Ancestral Copal Cleansing, a pre-Hispanic purification ritual using copal smoke to energetically clear the path before the vow ceremony. As evening falls, couples gather in the hotel’s botanical garden for a private tasting of reserve wines or artisanal tequilas, followed by The Memory Lane dinner — a candlelit, multi-course meal where each dish is crafted to represent a chapter of the couple’s shared story.

The following morning begins with a gourmet breakfast served on the couple’s private suite terrace, then continues with a restorative Couple’s Zen Ritual. The vow ceremony later in the day features live string music and a choice of two symbolic rituals: a Sand Blending Ritual—where sand from Puerto Vallarta is combined to symbolize the inseparability of two lives—or El Lazo, a traditional Mexican wedding rite in which a rosary, floral garland or silk cord is draped in a figure-eight around the couple to signify their eternal bond. As the sun sets over the Pacific, a cocktail hour leads into The Legacy Long Table dinner: a four-course, family-style meal in which each dish reflects a milestone from the couple’s marriage. After dinner, guests return to their room to find the Romantic Path turndown service, a curated arrangement of flower petals, softly glowing scented candles and late-night bites.
