Celebrating the season of family travel, The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte is welcoming canine companions this summer. From now through August, dogs are invited to stay with their families while exploring the Charlotte area, subject to a few sensible guidelines. The pet program accepts dogs weighing 40 pounds or less, with applicable pet fees and deposits. Rooms prepared for canine guests include a plush Ritz-Carlton dog bed, branded water and food bowls, an on-floor dining mat, waste bags, a chew toy and a complimentary Bar Cocoa dog biscuit for each resident dog.
To complement the in-room amenities, The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte spotlights pets during its summertime Saturday Sidewalk Socials. These gatherings take place outside the hotel’s Bar Cocoa dessert venue and create a relaxed, al fresco environment to enjoy pastries, desserts, French macarons, gelato and iced teas. A dedicated section of the sidewalk is reserved for diners with pets and offers leash tie-ups, doggie bags, local dog-walking maps and Bar Cocoa dog biscuits for four-legged visitors.
The seasonal offerings are designed to make stays with pets simple and enjoyable while allowing guests to experience Charlotte’s nearby attractions. Whether stopping in for a casual Saturday treat or staying overnight, dog-owning travelers will find thoughtful touches that help both owners and pets feel welcome.
