Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group will expand its presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with two new upscale Radisson Blu properties: Radisson Blu Resort Al Khobar Aziziya, opening in 2015, and Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Unaizah, scheduled for 2016. The beachfront Radisson Blu Resort Al Khobar Aziziya, located on the Al Khobar coast of Half Moon Bay in the Al Aziziya district, will offer 186 contemporary guestrooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby café, an outdoor swimming pool and generous meeting and event facilities suitable for business and social gatherings.
Situated in the Al Fahd district within Unaizah’s emerging downtown area, Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Unaizah will feature a mix of accommodation options, including 90 guestrooms, 10 suites, 80 serviced apartments and up to 10 villas. The property will provide guests with an all-day dining restaurant, a pool café, a fitness center and comprehensive meeting and event spaces, including a ballroom designed for larger functions and special occasions.
These two additions strengthen Carlson Rezidor’s growing portfolio across Saudi Arabia, which now comprises 16 hotels either operating or under development. Both projects reflect the company’s focus on delivering modern, service-driven hospitality in key urban and coastal locations, catering to both leisure travelers and the meetings and events market.
