The new property, Hotel Indigo Helsinki – Boulevard, is scheduled to open in 2015 and will be situated in the Kamppi/Punavuori area, within easy reach of the city’s top restaurants, galleries and cultural attractions.
The boutique hotel will offer 120 guestrooms and suites, a fitness center, a bar and an on-site restaurant. The property will operate under a franchise agreement with International Restel Hotels Ltd., the company that currently operates all eight of IHG’s existing hotels in Finland. According to Gabor Pusztai, director of operations for Helsinki and principal correspondent of International Restel Hotels Ltd., “We’re excited about bringing IHG’s boutique brand to Finland for the first time. The hotel is set in an iconic location and complements its surroundings perfectly, offering residents and guests a great space to relax and unwind.”
IHG continues to expand its Hotel Indigo portfolio across Europe; the company currently operates 11 Hotel Indigo properties on the continent and has an additional 14 hotels in development.
