JetBlue has broadened its Caribbean network by introducing three seasonal routes from Boston Logan International Airport. The new services connect Boston with Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia, Costa Rica; Gregorio Luperon International Airport in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; and Hewanorra International Airport in Saint Lucia. Each route will operate once weekly on Saturdays using Airbus A320 aircraft configured with 150 seats.
“JetBlue offers more non-stop flights to the Caribbean than any other airline. With three new routes to the Caribbean and Latin America, Bostonians will have even more options for their well-deserved vacations,” said Robin Hayes, president of JetBlue.
The addition of these seasonal destinations expands JetBlue’s presence in both the Caribbean and Latin America, providing travelers from the Boston area more direct choices for leisure travel. The weekly Saturday schedule is designed to accommodate weekend departures and extended stays, appealing to vacationers seeking convenient, non-stop itineraries.
Boston’s new links to Liberia, Puerto Plata and Saint Lucia diversify the region’s offerings: Liberia opens access to Costa Rica’s Pacific coast and nearby national parks; Puerto Plata provides access to the Dominican Republic’s northern beaches and culture; and Saint Lucia offers a gateway to the island’s renowned scenic beauty and resorts. Operating with the Airbus A320 supports a balance of capacity and efficiency on these seasonal routes.
By increasing non-stop options from Logan, JetBlue aims to meet growing demand for direct leisure travel between New England and popular Caribbean and Central American destinations. These additions follow the airline’s wider strategy to enhance connectivity and simplify travel for customers seeking sun-and-sea getaways without connections.
