New dining arrives in early 2016 with Kresios, opening at the elegant Mercer Hotel Barcelona. The restaurant will be led by Michelin-starred Chef Giuseppe Iannotti of Benevento, Italy. Designed by architect Rafael Moneo, the dining room evokes a Roman-era atmosphere: columns, arches and stonework combine with a terrace planted with orange trees to create a welcoming setting for tea, light lunches and refined dinners.
Situated in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, Mercer Hotel Barcelona comprises 28 stylish contemporary rooms and suites spread across a group of historic buildings. A rooftop terrace offers exceptional views, and many guest rooms retain original features such as exposed stone walls that reflect the property’s history and its location atop the remains of the ancient Roman city walls.
