Lake Placid’s First Luxury Destination Spa Resort

Whiteface Lodge has expanded its spa offerings to create a true destination spa in Lake Placid. Recent enhancements are intended to elevate the guest experience and make the spa a draw for both hotel visitors and locals.

The Spa at Whiteface Lodge now features a broad range of services and amenities, including fitness and meditation classes, Spa Café dining, full- and half-day packages, advanced skin and body treatments, and restorative massages. New additions also include a hair salon and a dedicated nail suite, plus memberships for local residents who want regular access to the spa’s offerings.

“The spa was already highly revered in the industry, but we felt we could and should offer more,” said Chris Pulito, general manager of Whiteface Lodge. “With these enhancements, we can serve a wider audience and better engage the local community.”

All spa reservations include complimentary access to the fitness center, indoor/outdoor swimming pool and hot tubs, as well as all-day use of the eucalyptus-infused steam room and cedar wood saunas. These integrated amenities are designed to support relaxation, recovery and overall well-being as part of a single, cohesive spa experience.

The expanded program blends wellness, beauty and leisure to create flexible options for visitors: guests can book individual treatments, assemble half- or full-day itineraries, or join classes that emphasize mindful movement and restoration. The Spa Café provides light, health-focused meals to complement treatments and support a balanced visit.

By combining curated treatments, communal relaxation spaces and fitness opportunities, the Spa at Whiteface Lodge positions itself as more than a treatment venue—it aims to function as a comprehensive wellness hub where guests can reset, recharge and enjoy extended time devoted to self-care.

These updates underscore the lodge’s commitment to thoughtful hospitality and to creating a spa environment that appeals to travelers and residents alike, offering both single-visit indulgences and ongoing membership options for those seeking regular wellness routines.
