La Dolce Vita Orient Express Now Open for Bookings

La Dolce Vita Orient Express, Italy’s first luxury train, is scheduled to begin welcoming guests in spring 2025. Ahead of its debut, booking is now open for the all-inclusive itineraries.

Travelers can choose from eight round-trip journeys that all depart from Rome and visit iconic Italian destinations such as Venice, Matera, Tuscany, Piedmont, Portofino, Abruzzo and Sicily. Together the routes cover nearly 10,000 miles of track across 14 regions and 131 cities, offering varied scenery from lakes and forests to mountains and vibrant urban centers.

The train’s interiors were developed in collaboration with Dimorestudio and draw on the elegance of 1960s and 1970s Italian design. The consist includes 12 carriages housing 12 deluxe cabins, 18 suites and a singular La Dolce Vita suite, with a maximum capacity of 62 passengers to ensure an intimate, personalized experience.

Culinary experiences aboard the train are led by three-Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck, who has created menus that celebrate regional Italian flavors and ingredients. Wine and spirits are curated in partnership with the Vinitaly exhibition brand, providing a selection that ranges from well-known labels to rare vintages, tailored to complement each menu and regional stop.
