Jet Airways has launched non-stop service between Mumbai and Paris, expanding its presence in Europe. The airline will begin by operating four weekly flights between Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport using Airbus A330 aircraft, and will increase the frequency to daily flights starting June 26.
Alongside the new direct service, Jet Airways has expanded its codeshare partnership with Air France to strengthen connections between India and Europe via Paris. Under the enhanced agreement, both carriers will place their codes on each other’s flights on the Mumbai–Paris sector, providing passengers with both morning and evening options for departures and arrivals in each direction.
“With the new direct flight and our recently expanded codeshare partnership, Jet Airways will now be able to offer its guests unmatched connectivity and seamless travel from India to Europe via Paris,” said Gaurang Shetty, senior vice president of commercial operations at Jet Airways. He added that the codeshare with Air France gives travelers access to more than 23 major cities across Europe, an important benefit given Europe’s popularity for both tourism and business among Indian travelers.
The combined offering of direct flights and broader network access through codesharing is designed to simplify travel planning and provide more schedule choices for passengers flying between India and Europe. By operating non-stop services and coordinating schedules with a major European carrier, Jet Airways aims to support growing demand for convenient, time-efficient connections between Mumbai and Paris and onward destinations across Europe.
