Inside Brussels Airlines’ Stylish New Cabin Interiors

Brussels Airlines is redesigning its intercontinental cabins to bring the warmth and attention to detail of a boutique hotel onboard.

The comprehensive refresh updates every travel class, from business to economy, with a focus on comfort, privacy and a distinctly Belgian character.

In business class, the carrier emphasizes a more intimate, premium experience. The cabin palette, materials and relaxed ambience are inspired by Belgian heritage and the atmosphere of Brussels Airport. The configuration is limited to 30 seats arranged in a staggered layout to provide heightened privacy for each traveler. Seats convert into spacious lounge sofas or fully flat beds up to two meters long. Each position includes a 15.6-inch HD screen and noise-cancelling headphones. A walk-up bar stocked with Belgian beers creates a social space for networking and casual conversation.

Premium economy receives notable improvements aimed at longer-haul comfort. Changes include wider armrests, a greater range of motion, increased seat pitch and one of the largest premium economy screens available in Europe, enhancing in-flight entertainment and overall relaxation.

Economy class has been upgraded with ergonomic headrests, generous recline, personal USB charging ports and individual 10-inch entertainment screens. These updates are intended to improve passenger comfort and convenience on intercontinental routes.

The first aircraft with the new interiors will enter service this month, marking the start of a fleetwide rollout designed to elevate the onboard experience while reflecting the airline’s Belgian roots.
