Emirates Skywards has enhanced its My Family rewards program, allowing family members to pool up to 100% of the Skywards Miles they earn on Emirates flights to reach rewards more quickly. Any Skywards member can join a My Family pool and change their contribution level at any time. Each pool can include up to eight family members.
Nejib Ben Khedher, senior vice president of Emirates Skywards, said the update is part of ongoing improvements designed to give members greater value, choice and flexibility. The enriched My Family program aims to create a more intuitive experience by letting families consolidate miles earned on Emirates for faster redemptions and personalize the sharing arrangement to better suit their travel plans.
The My Family offering complements other recent enhancements to Emirates Skywards. Earlier this year the program introduced more flexible mileage management and lowered rates for buying, gifting and transferring miles, making it easier for members to manage balances and reach redemption goals.
Membership in Emirates Skywards is free. Members can earn and redeem miles with more than 100 partners, using miles for flights and upgrades, exclusive events, access to 41 lounges, priority check-in and other benefits designed to enhance the travel experience.
