Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf Reopens After $10 Million Renovation

The doors have reopened after a $10 million renovation at Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf San Francisco. The redesign by Parker-Torres Design Inc. refreshed all 316 guestrooms along with the lobby, public areas and dining venues to reflect the neighborhood’s maritime history and vibrant culture. Guestrooms feature a palette of sea tones—soft grays and blues—accented with silver and navy details that create a modern nautical atmosphere. Each room includes flexible workspaces equipped with current technology, HDTVs and contemporary artwork for comfort and convenience.

Dining has been reimagined to match the hotel’s coastal theme. The two revamped outlets, Brick & Beam and The Wardroom, emphasize warm, tactile design. Brick & Beam centers around an oversized fireplace and incorporates weathered wood, oxidized metal and maritime elements such as pulleys and fishing gear to evoke the waterfront setting. The Wardroom complements the concept with refined, welcoming touches suited to both casual meals and special occasions.

Meeting and event facilities were also upgraded, offering more than 19,000 square feet of flexible function space. These areas can be arranged as breakout rooms, ballrooms or social gathering zones to accommodate conferences, weddings and corporate events. For leisure, the property includes a heated outdoor pool and whirlpool, providing a relaxing spot after a day on the bay. A 24-hour Stay Fit Fitness Center is available for guests who want to maintain their routines; the workout area features a Cardio Theater with flat-screen televisions and a range of exercise equipment.

Overall, the renovation blends contemporary hotel amenities with design cues drawn from Fisherman’s Wharf and the surrounding waterfront. The result is a refreshed destination that balances practical guest services—modern technology, flexible meeting options and fitness facilities—with a strong sense of place through material choices and nautical-inspired interiors.
