Hyatt is expanding its Hyatt Regency brand in Central Asia with a new property in Kazakhstan. Set to open in 2017, Hyatt Regency Almaty will be situated in the city center between Satpaev Avenue and the Esentai River, within easy reach of the business district, Almaty International Airport and the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange. The hotel will offer 270 guestrooms, including 41 suites, and provide guests with three restaurants and bars, a spa, a fitness center and more than 16,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, highlighted by a 6,450-square-foot ballroom.
Hyatt Regency Almaty aims to serve both business and leisure travelers by combining a central location with comprehensive amenities. Its proximity to major corporate offices and financial institutions makes it well suited for conferences and corporate events, while the on-site dining options, wellness facilities and comfortable guest rooms will appeal to visitors exploring Almaty.
The Hyatt Regency brand has a global presence, with more than 145 properties across regions including China, India, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and the United States. The addition of the Almaty property strengthens Hyatt’s footprint in Central Asia and supports the company’s broader strategy to grow in key urban and gateway cities.
