Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa is the newest addition to Hyatt’s collection of lifestyle hotels. Following a multimillion-dollar renovation, the property formerly known as Hyatt Key West Resort & Spa now operates under the Hyatt Centric brand, emphasizing authentic local experiences for modern travelers.
Situated in historic Old Town on the waterfront, the resort features 120 guestrooms, many with private balconies offering stunning sunset views. Guest rooms have been updated with island-inspired colors, artwork and furnishings. Thoughtful touches include journals, Drybar Buttercup blow dryers, eco-conscious bath products and other amenities designed for comfort and convenience.
“We are incredibly proud to transition into a Hyatt Centric property and strengthen our offerings for the experiential traveler seeking localized experiences,” said Carlos Morales, general manager of Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa. “Our resort’s prime location combined with the Hyatt Centric brand philosophy allows us to deliver the best lifestyle hotel experience on the island, and we’re excited to show our guests the best of Key West both on-property and off.”
The Blue Mojito Pool Bar and Grill received a comprehensive refresh, now styled in soothing blue tones with accents of sea and lime green and beach-chic neutrals. Renovations improved poolside views and added new booths, tables and seating including dining chairs, side chairs and barstools. The space features murals that reflect the island’s tropical scenery, along with an indoor chandelier, outdoor ceiling fans, upgraded televisions and wind protection for a more comfortable waterfront dining experience.
Jala Spa has moved to the ground floor and expanded its facilities to include a third treatment room and a dedicated manicure and pedicure station. The spa reflects design elements used throughout the resort, such as refined furniture, updated shower fixtures, enhanced bathroom finishes, signature treatments and polished wood floors, creating a cohesive, welcoming atmosphere for guests seeking relaxation.
With its refreshed public spaces, enhanced dining and wellness offerings, and guest rooms that draw on Key West’s vibrant aesthetic, Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa aims to deliver a contemporary, locally rooted stay. The property’s combination of waterfront location, thoughtful design and brand-focused programming positions it as a destination for travelers looking to explore the island while enjoying modern comforts and service.
