The hotel’s name fuses “Sol” (sun) and “Aya” (goddess of the dawn), evoking brightness and the fresh energy of morning. Drawing inspiration from the tones and textures of the Sonoran Desert and framed by sculptural architectural features, the property includes seven adaptable event spaces. Highlights include a 2,600-square-foot ballroom with soaring ceilings and a 3,500-square-foot outdoor lawn ideal for open-air gatherings and special events.

Dining options range from approachable American fare at the lobby-level Common Ground Bistro to upscale service at Ella on the Park, which is scheduled to open in late spring. Ella on the Park centers around a lively 360-degree bar that encourages conversation and socializing, and its menu highlights a modern interpretation of classic smokehouse techniques. For a more relaxed atmosphere, guests can enjoy bar and grill offerings at The Pool at Solaya, where lounge seating, stylish cabanas and an inviting pool deck set the stage for casual dining and leisure.
