EasyJet Celebrates 1,000th Route Launch — New Destinations Added

Budget airline EasyJet marks a milestone this winter by launching its 1,000th route, introducing 24 new services as part of the carrier’s largest-ever expansion at Manchester. The celebratory route is a new Manchester (MAN)–Bordeaux (BOD) connection, and Manchester will see five new destinations start this season.

“EasyJet has come a long way since our first route from London Luton to Glasgow in 1996, and we are thrilled to reach the 1,000-routes milestone,” said Sophie Dekkers, country director, UK.

“The introduction of these new routes across the UK gives passengers more attractive options across Europe for both leisure and business travel. We look forward to continuing sustainable growth and expansion while offering travellers low fares and friendly service.”
