Dorsett Hospitality International has announced plans for its second London hotel. The group will redevelop The Matrix building at Aldgate tube station together with the adjacent 18th-century St. Botolph Church into a new property named Dorsett City, London. Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2015, the 13-story hotel will offer 275 guestrooms and suites, two restaurants, a bar, a spa, and flexible meeting and event space.
This new Dorsett City hotel will complement the company’s first London property, Dorsett Shepherds Bush, which is set to begin welcoming guests in the first quarter of 2014. Dorsett Hospitality International—formerly Kosmopolito Hotels International—currently operates 18 hotels across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Malaysia, and has plans to open seven additional properties over the next two years across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
