New Delta One amenity kits now include premium products from TUMI and Kiehl’s, such as Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 and grapefruit hand and body lotion.
“Every item in our TUMI amenity kit has been thoughtfully selected with our customers’ needs in mind. We know our customers have come to expect our industry-leading service, so we’re going the extra mile to think of their needs in flight — no matter how big or small,” said Allison Ausband, senior vice president of in-flight service at Delta.
The updated kits launched on July 1 and are available on transoceanic international routes as well as on flights between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO). Outbound international passengers receive a navy, hard-sided TUMI amenity kit, while inbound international passengers receive a black, soft-sided version. Beyond Kiehl’s skincare items, the TUMI kits include a TUMI pen, eye shades, socks, ear plugs and a dental kit containing toothpaste, mouthwash and tissues.
Delta One’s new amenity kits are part of a broader set of passenger experience improvements. Delta Comfort+ international travelers receive a Rest and Refresh amenity kit, while main cabin passengers are provided with eye shades and ear plugs. Dining has been enhanced with chef-curated menus featuring dishes from chefs Linton Hopkins and Michelle Bernstein. In addition, trans-Atlantic flights from New York (JFK) offer menus inspired by Union Square Hospitality Group restaurants, and seasonal selections are coordinated with Delta’s 2016 wine program.
