Delta Air Lines has installed seatback entertainment systems on 600 aircraft, reaching its year-end target ahead of schedule.
“We continue to invest in seat-back screens because customers tell us they matter,” said Tim Mapes, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Delta Air Lines. “With seat-back screens, customers don’t have to choose between using their phones or watching a movie. Whether they want to work, relax, or a bit of both, we give customers the ability to choose and make the most of their time in flight.”
Delta offers more entertainment options than any other airline, with free access for all passengers through Delta Studio. The on-board system includes:
— More than 300 movies, including about 80 foreign-language titles
— 550 TV show episodes
— 12 channels of live satellite TV on select flights
— More than 2,500 songs
— A selection of podcasts and games, including in-flight trivia
In addition to seatback screens, customers can stream Delta Studio content on personal devices, ensuring multiple ways to enjoy entertainment during their journey.
