Catedral in Habana Vieja as an illustration in Colorful Havana – Explore & Color
Prepare for the trip with Colorful Havana (Small Press Unlimited, 2018), written by Laura Lahm and illustrated by Trevor Essmeier. Part travel guide and part creative activity book, it pairs brief destination notes with illustrations to color while following an itinerary through both well-known landmarks and lesser-known local favorites. The book highlights Old Havana’s cobblestone streets, the lively Sunday gatherings in Callejón de Hamel, the 16th-century Castillo de la Real Fuerza and historic bookshops around Plaza de Armas.
The 38-page softcover includes 30 illustrations to color, a bilingual Spanish-English index of locations and a map to guide your exploration. Other titles in this series by Lahm and Essmeier include Colorful Seattle, Colorful Tokyo and Colorful Portland.
