Chase and Marriott Launch New Co-Branded Credit Card

Chase and Marriott International have introduced a new no-annual-fee credit card that makes it easier to earn Marriott Bonvoy points.

The Marriott Bonvoy Bold card rewards cardholders with three points per dollar spent at more than 7,000 Marriott properties, two points per dollar on travel purchases, and one point per dollar on all other purchases. Cardholders also receive 15 elite night credits each calendar year and pay no foreign transaction fees. For a limited time, new applicants can earn a sign-up bonus of 50,000 points.

Leslie Gillin, president of co-branded credit cards at Chase, said the card was designed for customers who prefer no annual fee without sacrificing strong travel rewards. She noted the card complements Chase’s existing suite of co-branded products and offers an attractive earn rate for travelers who value Marriott’s global portfolio.

David Flueck, senior vice president of global loyalty at Marriott International, emphasized that the Marriott Bonvoy Bold card helps members accelerate points toward free nights across Marriott’s diverse portfolio of properties and exclusive Bonvoy Moments experiences, all without an annual fee. He highlighted how the card supports Marriott’s mission to connect people through travel and its collection of 29 hotel brands.

The Marriott Bonvoy Bold card targets travelers who want a simple, fee-free way to build rewards with every purchase. With bonus points at participating Marriott hotels and on travel, plus annual elite night credits, the card provides value for both occasional travelers and more frequent guests who prefer not to pay an annual fee.

Key features of the card include:

  • 3x points per dollar at eligible Marriott properties
  • 2x points per dollar on travel purchases
  • 1x point per dollar on all other purchases
  • 15 elite night credits each calendar year
  • No foreign transaction fees
  • Limited-time 50,000-point sign-up offer for new cardholders

Before applying, prospective cardmembers should review the full terms, eligibility requirements, and any promotional details directly with the issuer. Rewards programs and offers can change, and individual eligibility for bonuses may depend on prior relationships with the card issuer or participation in other promotions.
