Celebrate National French Bread Day at Sofitel New York: Warm Treats & Events

Celebrate a carb lover’s delight: National French Bread Day. On March 21, Sofitel New York transforms its brasserie, Gaby, into a true French boulangerie offering a variety of French breads and pastries.

Guests can choose from an assortment of 15 different breads and pastries, each priced at just $1. All proceeds benefit City Harvest, a food rescue organization that helps feed more than 1.4 million New Yorkers facing food insecurity. Visitors are invited to donate more than $1 if they wish.

The Boulangerie is open to the public throughout the day. Sofitel New York guests receive a cheddar truffle pretzel at check-in and a croissant at check-out. During lunch and dinner service in Gaby, the celebration continues with servings of four types of bread accompanied by olive tapenade.
