Cathay Pacific has announced it will increase service to Paris this summer. Beginning July 2, the airline will operate additional flights, raising the frequency on the Hong Kong (HKG) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) route to twice daily on selected days.
Currently, Cathay Pacific serves the HKG–CDG route 12 times per week: a daily Boeing 777-300ER service plus an Airbus A350-900 flight operating five times weekly. With the summer schedule change, the A350 service will be increased so that Tuesdays and Fridays will have two A350 departures, improving capacity and providing more options for travelers on those days.
The airline’s Airbus A350-900 on this route features a three-class cabin configuration: 38 fully flat business class seats, 28 premium economy seats, and 214 economy seats. The A350 series does not include a first-class cabin.
On the Boeing 777-300ER, passengers can find a first-class cabin arranged in a 1-1-1 layout, with a total of six first-class seats across two rows. This complements the aircraft’s other cabin classes and provides a premium option for those seeking extra space and service.
The increased A350 frequency aims to accommodate higher summer travel demand and offer passengers greater schedule flexibility between Hong Kong and Paris. Travelers should check Cathay Pacific’s official schedule for exact departure times and any changes as the airline implements the updated summer timetable.
