Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a Year of the Rabbit installation at the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. Open through March 4, the display offers guests an immersive experience that highlights Asian culture and tradition.
Designed by Ed Libby in collaboration with the Bellagio horticulture team, the exhibit centers on the Black Water Rabbit, a symbol associated with wisdom and a strong connection to the earth.

“We’ve designed a beautiful space of tranquility and cultural enlightenment where we hope guests will gather to usher in the Year of the Black Water Rabbit and embrace the good fortune it will bring,” said Ed Libby. The design aims to welcome visitors from around the world and convey messages of hope and prosperity for the new year.
The installation spans the Conservatory’s West Bed, North Bed, East Bed and South Bed, combining botanical and artistic elements. Highlights include 45,600 flowers, 6,500 plants, 88 gold coins and 70 koi fish woven into the overall composition, creating a rich, layered visual narrative.
