Situated in the historic heart of Florence—the birthplace of the Renaissance and the capital of scenic Tuscany—is the newly reopened Hotel Sina Villa Medici.
Housed in a former 19th-century residence, the hotel reveals a refreshed appearance after extensive refurbishment. Distinctive details include vaulted ceilings, marble bathrooms, silk wall coverings and carefully selected antique furnishings, all harmonizing with the grandeur of its surroundings.
The property offers 99 guestrooms and suites that blend traditional comfort with contemporary conveniences. Many rooms feature mood lighting, USB outlets and contemporary bathrooms, and nearly all have balconies or terraces with views of several of the city’s iconic monuments.
Dining is led by award-winning chef Daniele Pescatore at the hotel’s restaurant, Da’Pescatore, which focuses on fish and seafood dishes inspired by the chef’s Neapolitan roots.
“We are delighted to see this historic residence in the heart of Florence reimagined for our guests,” said John Licence, vice president of premium and select brands, Europe, Marriott International. “With its classic architecture and carefully curated design that honors the building’s history, Hotel Sina Villa Medici captures the spirit and heritage of this remarkable city and reflects our ‘Exactly Like Nothing Else’ brand philosophy.”
The hotel becomes the fourth Autograph Collection property in Italy and is among 125 Autograph hotels worldwide. The collection highlights distinctive, independent properties that maintain strong ties to local history and culture.
