The Vietage by Anantara is expanding its luxury rail offering with a second custom-designed carriage that will operate daily between Nha Trang and Quy Nhon. Service begins May 15. Building on the success of the original carriage, this new addition promises an elevated, boutique travel experience along South-Central Vietnam’s scenic coastline and countryside.

The five-hour journey blends modern comforts with a nostalgic, glamorous atmosphere. The new carriage accommodates 12 guests in reservation-only private booths, each designed with Indochine-inspired interiors and large panoramic windows that frame the passing landscapes. The layout emphasizes intimacy and unobstructed views so travelers can fully appreciate the region’s natural beauty.
Onboard amenities include a curated bar where a skilled mixologist crafts railway-inspired cocktails and mocktails. For a moment of calm, a dedicated spa area offers a 15-minute head-and-shoulders massage designed to soothe and refresh during the journey.

Culinary offerings focus on refined regional flavors and elegant presentation. An afternoon tea service features dishes such as poached Bai Dai lobster and Da Lat caviar, accompanied by a tea tower of homemade finger sandwiches, pastries, cakes and traditional scones. The tasting concludes with an artisanal cheese and charcuterie board. Beverage selections include Vietnamese teas from Epicurean Sao, local coffee from La Folliet, a curated wine list, beers, cocktails, mocktails and premium sodas.
Throughout the trip, passengers can watch Vietnam’s rural scenes unfold outside their windows: grazing water buffalo, lotus-filled ponds, layered rice paddies and a variety of local flora and fauna.
